I spent three years developing BePure EstroClear and finally launched it while on my latest tour, The Hormone Secret. I’ve had lots of questions about BePure EstroClear so I thought I’d take this opportunity to talk about it in a little more detail.

BePure EstroClear which is an active daily detoxifier, scientifically formulated to support you in living with healthier, balanced hormones. It contains powerful natural ingredients that support up-regulating the detoxification system through the second phase of the liver.

Formulated with a chocolate and manuka honey flavoured protein-based powder, BePure EstroClear can be added to your morning smoothie to help bring your body back to healthy, energised hormonal balance, every day.

To get the best benefit from BePure EstroClear it is recommended you take this alongside BePure One and BePure Three in the full BePure Hormone Health Pack.

Who is EstroClear for?

EstroClear is suited to anyone experiencing oestrogen dominance.

Common signs of oestrogen dominance include:

  • Stubborn weight (particularly around the hips, abdomen and thighs)
  • Irregular or heavy menstrual periods
  • PMS symptoms
  • Bloating
  • Lack of concentration and memory loss
  • Mood swings
  • Headaches (premenstrually)
  • Low energy or fatigue that is not remedied with sleep

Why do we need it?

Oestrogen dominance is increasingly common in the modern world. This is linked to the degrading quality of our food, modern day stressors and liver loaders such as alcohol and caffeine. We are constantly exposed to toxins that contain oestrogen-mimicking molecules called xenoestrogens. Xenoestrogens are molecules in the environment that mimic oestrogen in the body, creating oestrogen dominance.

Due to our modern day living, the liver simply can not cope with this increased load and requires extra support to remove these harmful excess oestrogens from the body and bring your hormones back to balance.

EstroClear provides the nutrients the liver requires to process excess oestrogen through the liver. The natural ingredients also work to modulate hormones and upregulate the liver.

Active Ingredients in EstroClear

Rosemary is a potent herb for supporting hormone balance. It works to improve oestrogen biotransformation. This means it helps your body convert oestrogen into a more protective form. It also upregulates the processing of oestrogen through the second phase of the liver.

We’ve included organic rosemary leaf because it is also a phytonutrient and antioxidant powerhouse. It contains rosmanol, carnosol and ursolic acid, which have confirmed anti-carcinogenic properties and they have also been shown to beneficially affect both phase 1 and 2 of the liver.

Turmeric has very strong anti-inflammatory properties. Due to the role of inflammation in PMS, it’s likely that turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties will help the symptoms of PMS. It’s been shown to induce (or make work faster) the enzymes of the phase 2 of the liver. Turmeric exerts suppressive effects on human cancer cells; it does this by counteracting the proliferative effect of oestrogen.

DIM is a molecule naturally found in cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and kale. It works to shift the oestrogen ratio to a more protective form and acts as a oestrogen regulator. DIM upregulates enzymes in the liver to increase detoxification and clear oestrogen more effectively. DIM has also been shown to slow down the growth of cancer cells in the breast.

Organic ashwagandha root has been included for it’s many known benefits.  It is an adaptogenic herb which means it improves resistance to stress and hormone balance. Other benefits include energy, supports menopause symptoms, and improved mood.

N-acetyl cysteine is a specific form of the essential amino acid cysteine. It improves insulin sensitivity and lowers testosterone levels. This is especially good for anyone suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

Glutamine is another amino acid and is the most abundant amino acid in the blood stream. It is  particularly important for the immune system and for the gastrointestinal tract. This mean if your digestive system is compromised, our liver will get overloaded (liver load) contributing to hormonal imbalance. This is using a systems biology approach, where all systems in the body have a flow on effect.

Detox Reaction

This product is a very effective liver detoxifier so you may notice a detox reaction in the first couple of days. A detox reaction changes from person to person but commonly includes symptoms such as headaches and nausea.  This should last for usually only 2-5 days and maximum a week. Please get in contact with us if your detox symptoms last longer than that. Other symptoms may include skin breakouts and fatigue.

Q. I’m post-menopausal, can I have EstroClear?

A. Yes, if you are post-menopausal and you have excess weight, BePure EstroClear is likely to help support your hormones and weight loss. If you are having severe menopause symptoms (i.e. you’re currently in perimenopause) we don’t recommend. If your symptoms are mild we recommend a half dose.

Q. Can I have EstroClear while pregnant or breastfeeding?

A. EstroClear is not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding. There’s plenty of time to balance your hormones after weaning. BePure One and Three are great to support nutrient levels and energy while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Q. Will EstroClear affect my oral contraceptive pill?

A. There is no evicence to suggest that your contraceptive pill will be effected by taking Estroclear.

Q. What is the calorie breakdown for Estroclear?
