1. A Happier Gut
Research shows a very clear correlation between stress and IBS. IBS is stressful, which can make symptoms worse. The cycle can be intercepted by taking some steps to manage stress.

Our body perceives all stress overloads as a threat to survival. Naturally, when survival is 'threatened' digestion takes a backseat.

We're not ourselves when we're stressed. Our thinking is frantic and cloudy. Frustratingly, whatever we are stressed about gets in the way of coming up with ways to successfully navigate them.

The state of our skin is a reflection of what's going on inside our bodies. Poor gut health is commonly behind skin issues like psoriasis, eczema and acne. Through managing stress and supporting our gut, we can improve our skin as a result.
5. Hormonal Balance
Our bodies will prioritise survival over anything else when we're stressed, in this case - the production of cortisol is prioritised over our sex hormones. Over time, this can contribute to hormone imbalance.
