Nutrition is the foundation of health.  Somehow medical schools seem to skip over nutrition and doctors graduate with a very limited knowledge of the role of food in health and healing, and also its role in disease causation.
When I entered medical school I was so excited to be learning about how amazing and clever the body was but during medical school, disease, diagnosis and drugs took over and somewhere health and vitality got left out.  I think of doctors as 'disease practitioners' not health practitioners.  Ben is a health practitioner.

Ben's course is what I would like all my patients to know and implement.  He spends at least two days covering the basics of food and nutrition, whereas I get 15-20 minute appointments so can't do the topic justice.

I have to be careful though; if people follow Ben's advice, I'll be out of a job!
