The BC-601 SD (replacing BC 545) is the top of the range body composition machine. This machine has the full range of functions, with the added accuracy of hand monitors, this machine is the only machine that can measure your upper extremities, including the ability to isolate arms, legs and torso - so you can really see if your exercise is hitting those hard to reach spots.
The “Segmental†is for the serious health & fitness enthusiast. It does a separate scan of each arm, each leg, the trunk, and then whole body. TANITA advises that it has the same degree of accuracy as its top commercial models that cost thousands of dollars that are found in hospitals and research institutions.
